Bee Stitch Brioche Knitted Scarf

I knitted a scarf to donate using a bee stitch brioche pattern. I found the pattern here. It was fun because I learned a new stitch.

I used a Caron Anniversary Cake Special Edition (the colour is Merry Maximus) and 6.5mm needles.

I cast on 23 stitches (odd number plus 6 border stitches).

Knit 4 rows. I followed this pattern, knitting 3 stitches at the beginning and the end of each row for an outside border.
  • Row 1 (wrong side): Knit all
  • Row 2 (right side): K1, * K1B, K1 * (repeat between asterisks)
  • Row 3: Knit all
  • Row 4: K2, * K1B, K1 *, K1
  • Bind off

K1B = To knit one below, with yarn in back, insert your knitting needle from back to front into the stitch below the first stitch on your left needle. Knit into it, bringing both the new stitch forward while dropping the stitch above.
