Mess Honeycomb Knitted Scarf

I knitted a scarf to donate using a mesh honeycomb pattern. It was easier than it looks to make.

I used a Caron Anniversary Cake Special Edition (the colour is Opal) and 6.5mm needles.

I cast on 21 stitches.
  • Row 1: (RS) Knit each stitch across the row
  • Row 2: (WS) K1, *yo, k2tog; repeat from * across the row
  • Row 3 Knit each stitch across row
  • Row 4 K2, *yo, k2tog; repeat from * across the row to last stitch, knit 1
  • Repeat rows 1 to 4
  • Bind off.
