After visiting with Ashley, the naturopath, last week, I've been putting some of the things she said to practice.
I picked up some Vitamin B12 and CoQ10, switched our Udo's Oil to fish oil and have been trying to drink more water.
I usually bring my lunch to work and take either rice/chicken (that I make) or a lite frozen meal. Today I replaced it with a salad I made this morning:
2 cups of mixed greens
1/4 cup chick peas
1 T sunflower seeds
5 ounces cherry tomatoes
4.5 ounces baby carrots
2 T raspberry vinaigrette dressing
People I know say they are very happy to just have a big salad for lunch ... I wanted to be that person!
It was a BIG salad ... so big I had to bring a mixing bowl for it when I put it all together.
It was good and I ate it all ... but it was a BIG salad! It took me about an hour to eat it.
I can't imagine to it all over again tomorrow! So ... new goal ... have a side salad once a day.
