I'm on vacation this week and am staying around Toronto ... so a staycation.
I got up just after Gord left for work ... I was awake and couldn't sleep so figured I may as well start my day.
By 9:30ish I was driving to IKEA. We needed a bath mat and I wanted to replace a light we have in the living room that ticks when it's on ... ticking can't be good a thing. IKEA is such a tempting place ... you go in for a couple things and come out with many many more plus at least 100 tea lights. I got the lamp, couldn't find a bath mat but did buy a set of steak knives. I ran through the candle section so I wouldn't be tempted!
I went to Walmart for a bath mat and a shower curtain caught my eye. As I was hanging the new shower curtain, the rod broke. It was the original cheap one from when the condo was built in 1999 so I headed back out to Home Hardware for a new one.
I had shoveled snow on Friday and Saturday and did something funky to my back ... my lower back on the right side has been killing me. So I saw Shannon, my chiropractor, this afternoon. She had a whole lotta crackin' going on in my neck and back. It's still twingey but feels better.
So on day one I got a few things crossed off my to-do list.

Lucky you! A staycation. Sounds like you did a lot. I would been relaxing. lol
Enjoy your statcation. OMG IKEA drives me nuts. I try to avoid it at all costs. Wallymart has the same affect, have to go first thing in the morning (8am) or its a zoo. Have fun crossing things off your list.
Sometimes staycations are just what the doctor ordered. See how much you got done.
