I didn't get to the gym last night... I had a condo board meeting.This evening I was tired and was very very very tempted to plant my butt on the couch and keep it there.
But I talked myself into going to the gym (it's only a block away) to do something.
I did Week 4 Workout 3 of the Couch to 5K running program while watching ET Canada (there was lots of coverage of Corey Haim's death):
* Brisk five-minute warm-up walk
* Jog 3 minutes
* Walk 90 seconds
* Jog 5 minutes
* Walk 2-1/2 minutes
* Jog 3 minutes
* Walk 90 seconds
* Jog 5 minutes
* Brisk five-minute walk
It's still tough! I've never been a runner and this is really pushing me. When I'm doing it, I don't think I can get through it ... but I do. Yay!
Then I did weights and crunches while listening the Bay City Rollers (it's what I was in the mood for!).
I finished off with 30 minutes on the stationery bike ("around the world" mode) while reading Pretty in Plaid.
Time to go soak in a vanilla scented bubble bath ...

keep it up teena. you are doing great. I'm hoping once the time changes, i can convince joey to go walking with me so I can try this.
Way to go Teena. Its so hard to exercise when tired. Keep up the good work.
its always hard to work out. if it were easy everyone would do it! keep it up and youll get there!! i never thought id be able to run at a 5.6, and im up to 20 min straight at that speed. Just small steps!
Sounds like the vanilla bubble bath was the perfect reward! :)
So awesome-isn't it amazing. We don't always feel like doing until we actually are and then it feels great.
