Gord and I went to the gym this morning.
He did the Ashtanga yoga class.
I did Week 5 Workout 1 of the Couch to 5K running program while watching In Living Color.
* Brisk five-minute warm-up walk
* Jog 5 minutes
* Walk 3 minutes
* Jog 5 minutes
* Walk 3 minutes
* Jog 5 minutes
* Brisk five-minute walk
I didn't find it as hard as I thought I would. Maybe my body is getting used to it or maybe there is something to what they say about working out first thing in the morning. I'd had a protein/Greens/ground flax seed shake for breakfast rather than something heavier.
Then I did weights and crunches while listening Three Dog Night. I reversed the order I usually do the exercises.
I finished off with 30 minutes on the stationery bike ("around the world" mode) while reading Facing Ali: 15 Fighters/15 Stories.
