Hot Tub Time Machine follows a group of best friends who've become bored with their adult lives: Adam has been dumped by his girlfriend; Lou is a party guy who can't find the party; Nick's wife controls his every move; and video game-obsessed Jacob won't leave his basement. After a crazy night of drinking in a ski resort hot tub, the men wake up, heads pounding, in the year 1986. This is their chance to kick some past and change their futures - one will find a new love life, one will learn to stand up for himself with the ladies, one will find his mojo, and one will make sure he still exists!This looked funny when I saw the trailer a couple weeks ago ... and that's just what I was in the mood to see this evening (it just opened today).
It's not great but it's entertaining ... I'd recommend it if you are looking for something mindless. I lived through the 80s so it was fun to see the styles and mannerisms.
The soundtrack will be excellent ... lots of old tunes on it, especially Motley Crue and Poison.

I went and saw Avatar last night...have you seen it?
Sometimes its good to just switch the brain off and watch these types of films. I watch a lot of B horror movies for the same reason just mindless fun. :)
I haven't seen "Avator", LeeAnn ... not my kind of movie.
I'd not heard of this one. Actually, I've not been to the cinema in ages. I really should go sometime :)
