Are you true ...

... to a hairstylist?

I'm soooo not a morning person. I can't imagine getting up a half hour early every day just to fuss with my hair.

When I was younger, I did. I've had bangs and layers and perms. I've moussed and hair sprayed and blowdried.

I have long blonde hair ... nothing too exciting. I let my bangs grow out six years ago because they were too much work.

I get my hair trimmed every six months or so, wherever I may be when the urge hits me.

There is a hair salon across the street from where I work. It is off the beaten path a bit ... a wash and cut is $19.

$19!!

Downtown a mere trim will cost me $60!

I wandered in at lunchtime today for a trim. I figured that if it turned out really bad, I could go elsewhere to get it fixed.

Lee spent about ten minutes giving me a head massage. Very nice start!

The trim was fine ... no funny angles or stray ends.

I'll definitely be back to see Lee!

My used to take me to this one lady all the time. And then I asked for some layers. She gave me the rachel hair cut. Which i did not want at all. I even told her that. So then i went to someone else. I felt bad for a while but then i got over it.

I try to find someone in my neighbourhood---and luckily, since I live downtown, I have a wide range to choose from. But I don't. I always go to the same place because the woman who used to cut my hair 13 years ago recognized me and called me by name when she saw me on the street one day. Who couldn't be loyal to that?

I've been seeing the same girl for a couple of years now. Its convenient but nothing comes cheap here. Usually go every 6-8 weeks at the price of $120.00 for cut and color. Been to other places and all seem to charge the same rate.

I definitely am- been seeing the same woman for years. I know all the girls who work at the salon and my sister sees another lady there. I guess I have two people cuz I started getting my hair chemically relaxed and my stylist doesn't do that. But she's always cut my hair beautiful and she loves that I let her try new stuff on me all the time. 99% of the time I love it :)

What a price difference.
Same in Oslo.
I trimmed my hair - what a name classical short for Men:
The prices here are between CDN 22 and 95 - for the same simple haircutting.

The result is the same.

I pay now to have my hair cut and colored and she is worth it. I've had okay haircuts for years, so it's wonderful to find somebody who knows my hair.

$19 is a great price for a wash and cut. I get mine cut at Melville by Veralynn. $15 for a wet cut and great conversation!
