Wednesday

I conducted a retirement seminar in Richmond Hill today (about a 40 minute drive).

On my way up, I noticed there was a lot of heat coming from the vents, which were turned off. Oh oh! When I stopped at a red light, there was smoke coming from under the hood on the driver's side. All I wanted was to get to the client's office without catching on fire.

After the seminar I crossed my fingers and headed home.

I took KC out for a pee and noticed that she was squatting a lot and there was blood in her pee. Oh no! I called the vet right away and got an appointment for her for this afternoon.

I drove the car to the vet's because our mechanic is a block from them.

It turns out that KC's anal glands are infected again and it moved into her urinary tract. We got some meds for a week.

Gord met us at the vet's office and we took KC across the street to her favourite park for a run.

Then we dropped the car off and walked home.

Hopefully KC will get better quickly and our car will be okay.

Hopefully the repairs won't cost you an arm and a leg. Poor KC feel better soon.

Poor KC. My dog acted weird yesterday as well. He just sat there when we were at the park. I walked him back home but he was dragging his feet, then we got there and he lied down and didn't move. I was freaking out. But later he seemed better. I have no idea what it was.
