Monday workout

I went to the gym tonight.

I did Week 2 - Workout 1 of the Couch to 5K program ... it's the first time I've ever gotten to week 2. Yay me!

Brisk five-minute warm-up walk. Then alternate 90 seconds of jogging and two minutes of walking for a total of 20 minutes. Then finish with five-minute brisk walking.

Then I spent about 30 minutes doing weights and crunches.

I finished off with 30 minutes on the stationery bike ("random" mode) while reading Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl.

I was the last to leave the gym!

My eating on was track today.

My water intake could have been better but it wasn't too bad ... so I'm working on that now!

You go girl. And believe me, journaling your preparation in a blog will keep your feet to the fire. I'm blogging to keep my fingers flying on a memoir. I'm willing to bet you run a 5K before my book is done though.
