Today was day three at the new job ... and I like it!I wondered whether it would be hard to adjust back to the regular grind again but it's been fine.
I've been spending my time getting to know the company. I was given a new employee manual and there are lots of reading to do online, along with exercises and quizzes. Some I have to email to HR so those I'm doing for sure.
There is an account manager I'll be working with so I spent some time with him yesterday to see what his process is. And I spent some time with the other Education Advisor too. I've been in this role before so know how it works ... but I wanted to see if they do anything differently.
So I'm not regretting taking the job ... yay!
A weird thing happened, though, when I went to the washroom this afternoon. As I settled in to pee, I heard a woman a couple stalls over having a conversation on her cellphone ... while she was having a smelly poo. I try to avoid pooing in strange places and I definitely don't chat on my phone while I'm doing it. You don't encounter stuff like this when you're working for yourself!

The whole Cell Phone Mania is really beyond the pale....Needing to talk on your cell phone while on the toilet??? HELP US, AND SAVE US!

But boo for people talking on the phone in the bathroom. Not cool. Nobody wants a phone call from someone on the can, let alone HEAR someone on the phone in a public washroom
