Moxie's Classic Grill, Toronto. ON

Sister Sarah and I met our aunt, Carol Ann, at Moxies today for lunch.

Carol Ann lives in north Toronto and is just a few years older than I am (she's one of our mother's younger sisters).

It was nice to see her and catch up.

BTW, if you see her, don't call her "Carol Ann". She dropped the "Ann" after she moved to Toronto years ago and goes by "Carol".

We have a lot of double names in our family. Sister Sarah used to be "Sarah Lynn" but she dropped the "Lynn" a couple years ago. I have cousins named Kathi-Jo, Kari-Anne , Sarah Ann and Lauralee. Must be a downeast thing.

My mother tried to make me a "Teena Louise" but thankfully that didn't stick.

My grandmothers name was "Lottie Belle"...maybe I'll start calling you Teena Belle! ;)

I love Moxies! :)

Hey Teena Lousie...yes, I have a cousin named 'Carrie Anne' which she went by throughout her childhood...then suddenly she got in her mid-twenties and got mad when people called this...it was "just Carrie".

Funny thing...when my sister was born in 1978 and my mother named her 'Corinna May', it occured to me that 'May' was an incredibly popular middle name around the neighborhood...such greats as "Ida May","Sadie May" and "Linda May" amoungst others. So many beautiful combinations. :)

I have an aunt Carol Ann... I call her Annie though. Some double names are quite cute, but I'm glad I don't have one :)

Nice to see you are enjoying your time with your sister. Never a dull moment it seems.
