Parking ticket

Here's something you don't see very often.

Gord and I had a beer at the Gladstone this evening.

Looking out the window we saw a police officer on a horse.

She stopped in front of cab that was illegally parked and wrote a ticket.

The cabbie came out and freaked and tried to talk his way out of it.

No way!

The cabbie was not pleased!

Good! Too many drivers in Toronto think they can do what they want, when they want, no matter if it inconveniences others. If only I could dish out tickets...

i can't remember the last time i saw a police officer on a horse. very neat. quite the reflectors on that horse!

p.s. often when i go to your blog to post a comment i get the prompt to 'enter the letters as they are shown in the image' but there is NO image. does anyone else get that or has anyone else ever mentioned this to you? or just me!

Ha ha ha! That's kinda funny Teena.

BTW, I've been wanting to go to the Gladstone for awhile, me, you and Darlene should head there one Friday.....keep it in mind.

raino-would pop ups blocked be the problem? Teena will probably know.

Raino: That happens to me sometimes too when I go to blogs. I just hit the publish button and it gives me another word.

Angie: We should go to Crazy Karaoke at the Gladstone. Remember you had booked it last year but cancelled it? It's a hoot!

You sometimes see them in Oslo, Norway too. Mostly in front of parades or demonstrations.

Great shots! We don't have police on horseback here.

We actually have working police on horses. They aren't just for show.

Seeing a Policeman on Horseback is something I used to see in New York City..BUT, we never see them here anymore.
OH wait....About 20 years ago when they were trying to "clean up" the--Shall We Say--LADIES OF THE NIGHT on Sunset Blvd...they were using Policeman on Horseback. I never quite understood they're thinking on that one...lol! It was like The Old West.
