Hooters, Toronto, ON

Gord and I met Angie and Rob at Hooters for supper tonight before the Trailer Park Boys: The Ricky, Julian and Bubbles Community Service Variety Show.

Before we had our meals (I had a burger and fries), we shared a plate of deep fried pickles ... yes, deep fried pickles. Surprisingly they weren't bad ... just different.

Leah, our waitress, and Chia Kitty seemed to get along well right away.

Here's Rob, Angie and Chia Kitty:

I've known Angie since the spring of 2001. She had started a women's social group called The Girls Night Out Club and I joined.

never cared for hooters. Everytime I go the food isn't that great or the service sucks. Joey likes it though. ha ha.

The food's not great.

But we were going to the Trailer Park Boys Show so thought Hooters was a trashy way to start. Ha!

Hooters seems like a natural pairing for the TPB's show ~ but you didn't have wings?!?!

Don't worry, they aren't great. And the couple times I've been there my service has always been terrible. But then again, I didn't have a Chia Kitty to charm the staff!

I always had the wings at Hooters and liked them.

But we came across all you can eat wings one Monday night there ... and we did.

Hooters wings overload!

I love fried pickles. I also like Hooters wings but crazy enough only with beer...
