Booking Through Thursday

All other things (like price and storage space) being equal, given a choice in a perfect world, would you rather have paperbacks in your library? Or hardcovers? And why?

Given a choice, I would rather have hardcovers in my library (okay, I'd love to have a library too!). They look so nice and are more durable.

But alas, I don't have the luxury of having the room for them in my teeny tiny bookshelf.

Maybe you are luckier than most of us - you don't have a library that undermines all your dreams. Just think, as your space expands you'll be able to fill it with just the sort of books you want. The rest of us are stuck with a compromise between what we'd like and what we've already acquired.

I don't have a "library" too, but I can't give up my old books, paperbacks and hardbound.

Hardcovers are very nice, I agree. :) I have a mix of hardcovers and paperbacks and like them both for different reasons.

I noticed you have cats on Catster! So do I -- Catster is a blast! :)

Happy BTT!

Fortunately, I like all formats, but if I had to choose I'd definitely go for the trade paperback size books. I like the look of them and find the size to be very convenient.

Welcome to BTT!

I have mix of both in my library. However, I prefer paperbacks.
