Oil of Oregano

Have you ever used oil of oregano to get rid of a cold?

I've been hearing a lot about it lately.

And since I'm STILL coughing and my nose is continuously running, I'm ready to try anything.

Have you ever thought about going to the doctor?? I know there is no true cure for the flu or a cold, but you have been sick for a while girl!

I've heard about it too - my husband and I have both been fighting off colds for a couple of weeks now so we added extra oregano in the sauce last night, but the oil just might be worth a try. We have a great zinc and ecinacea spray that tastes awful but seems to work really well. Hope you're feeling better soon!

I've never heard of it. You might want to get checked out to make sure it does not turn into pneumonia or acute bronchitis.

Hey Teena,

Have you considered a chest x-ray??? Sometimes a cold is not just a cold and it's a terrible thing to find out the hard way.... Go get your bio-hazard self to the doctor.

I've heard good things about it, but never used it personally. Are you running a fever or anything? Is the cough more in your chest or in your throat? I sound like a doctor? LOL Feel better soon!

I recommend the bowler hat treatment. Get a bowler had and a bottle of obsenely good scotch. Hang the hat on the doorknob of your bedroom and start drinking scotch. When you see two bowler hats, stop drinking and go to bed.

The common cold lasts 7-10 days; however, if you use the bowler hat treatment as directed, it only lasts 7-10 days.
