Southwestern EggBeaters

Gord loves eggs. Loves! Loves! Loves! He has them every morning for breakfast.

I like eggs but having them once every three months is plenty. But since I've been back on Weight Watchers, I've started having egg whites for breakfast.

Our favourite is Southwestern ... "a bolder flavor with a combination of real eggs, green and red peppers, onions, chilies and authentic Southwestern spices for breakfast burritos and omelets." It has a nice bite in the morning.

100ml is only one point. That's a lot of egg!

I put them on two pieces of Weight Watchers whole wheat bread and it's a filling two point breakfast.

I like the ones in the green box. I don't remember the name. They are egg white with a smidge of yolk for colour.

I like the garden veggie eggbeaters, and 3/4 of a cup is a nice filling amount with a ton of protein and no fat! I love that!

As wierd as it sounds, they taste really good with a half of a red ruby grapefruit, too!

I've baked with egg beaters but never eaten them on their own as scrambled eggs and such. Hmmm... Sounds not too bad! Thanks for letting us know. :-)
