Gord went to Buffalo this weekend with his son, Ken. They left yesterday afternoon and are back tomorrow. They haven't been away together in a while. The trip was centered around the football game this afternoon. Meeting others at 10:00am to drink beer and BBQ in the cold and rain in a parking lot, then watch a football game in the cold and rain, and then try to leave the stadium as 99,998 others try to leave too in the cold and rain ... just doesn't sound like my idea of fun!
It's nice to have the weekend to myself. I got a lot done. I cleaned out a couple closets that were a mess, watched a couple lousy movies on TMN, got some books and magazines read, had pizza for supper last night, took the dog for a long walk today, had a long bubble bath, etc.

Me too! It's the one thing I miss about being single ~ having the place to myself!! Gord moved into my place and it took about a year to get used to it. I love having him around but it's nice when he goes away :)
